Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Palette
I fell in love with the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe palette when I was at my sisters and she had it. The pigments are like nothing I have used before. For blue eyes, tans and browns are the best to make the eyes pop and this palette has a variety of choices in this color scope. Today I want to talk about the colors I use for my go-to eye makeup.
I always start with a flat neutral color from the center of the corner of the lid to about halfway across. I also use the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe brushes to apply the shadows. The neutrals I use are:
I then will go over the actual lid with Creamsicle or if I want a little sparkle I hit it with Obsessed. Blend that in real well. Then I choose a deeper color for the crease. My faves are:
Blend that in the crease from the corner in. Then I will take an even darker color like:
I use Abyss with an eye liner brush for the bottom lid. Then highlight my brow-bone with:
These are the colors I have used so far. I am still exploring and playing with them but honestly this is the best palette and such an amazing price of $40. 40 bucks for 28 colors° UM YES PLEASE!
Ever since I was born I have been bleach blonde everywhere and my eye brows were no exception. It's nice having light hair on your legs, arms and head of course but the brows... HELLO they look neglected. I have been filling them in brown for years. I tried pencil, gel, shadows, you name it and I tried it. The best pencil I found was the IT Cosmetics Universal brow. I have the thick one and the thin one. I got my technique down pretty well after watching a makeup tutorial (Nikki Tutorials) but once quaratine happened and I did not wear makeup like at all and did not want to color them in everyday I was like ok I am over this. I took to my IG to get some advice and my girl Patty told me to go to Brows and Beauty A Go-Go and see her friend Carrie. I immediately called and made an appointment for what I thought was microblading... turns out, it was not!
I guess there are worse things to be addicted to but right now beauty products are my obsession, as well as Bath & Body Works candles.
In 2017 I decided to start getting Botox. I would look in the mirror and cringe at the site of my 11s. The three years prior to that I was working behind a desk, on the computer full time and being that I am type-A I would concentrate so hard that my eyes practically became one. Except they didn't, but instead left me with a big fat #11 in the center of my eyes. So I went on Groupon to find a reliable med spa with a deal for new customers. That is when I discovered Tre MedSpa in Westchase. My initial impression of the spa was "OH MY GOSH this is gorgeous!"
