After quarantine I started to step my workout game up a bit. I was working out pretty good when it all started but of course when we all got incarcerated in our homes I turned to more booze and less work out. LOL. Your food and workout will really go by your goals; mine are to tone and lean. I absolutely love CYCLEBAR. I love HIIT as well. I used to do hot yoga which I also loved but now replaced that with core bootcamp twice a week.

Your food and workout will really go by your goals; mine are to tone and lean. I absolutely love CYCLEBAR. I love HIIT as well. MY WORKOUT
Mondays: 45 min CYCLEBAR burns around 350 calories or so per class & includes 5 min of arm workout
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 30 min of core bootcamp with HIIT and cardio i.e. boxing, body weights and core strengthening.
Wednesdays: 30 min intense CYCLEBAR burns around 280 calories
Fridays: moderate cardio, walking 2x, about 4-5miles within the day
Saturdays: Cardio- run, bike, row
Sunday: R + R

For me this work out has not made me lose weight. Infact I am 145 lbs which is the most I have ever weighed. I have toned a LOT & maintained a size 4 waist. The cellulite on the back of my legs have disappeared and I am definitely stronger than ever and FINALLY have a booty!! My weakness is my stomach. I know for a fact I will never ever have a flat stomach and I have accepted that. I did get coolsculpting on my lower abdomen which helped but I still have a pooch and there is still some weight I need to drop there but I like to drink wine and margaritas and eat Mexican and those are things I am not willing to give up so° I try to be good Sunday-Thursday.
MID WEEK DIET
I do intermittent fasting. I only eat from 11am-7pm. I drink black coffee, pre and probiotics in the morning and apple cider vinegar tea. For lunch I sometimes will each breakfast, eggs with sweet potatoes, bacon etc. I also love salads, chicken salad or a simple quesadilla with a low carb wrap and mexcian cheese. For dinner I eat a high protein meat or fish with a vegetable and carb. I love sweets and I always need something after so I will have a piece of dark chocolate and homemade popcorn for my snack. Home made as in i measure the oil and butter with kernels in a Whirly Pop on the stove. I will also do protein and almond milk after my workouts, I use 310 Nutrition it is low in sugar and keto friendly.

I do cheat though, like I said I let myself live. Cutting out carbs, alcohol and sugar is not realistic or something I WANT to do. If I do find myself over indulging I pull back for a bit and cut it out for a week or two. You have to find a lifestyle that works for you and keeps you feeling healthy and happy!

After quite a while of lack in motivation I am back! My desire to write took a spill once quarantine started, but there were a lot of changes that happened in Q that were very positive, and that is what I want to share today; why I am thankful for quarantine.
As you know, I am a firm believer in what GOD wants is what is best. While I know a lot of people lost their jobs, the kiddos could not go to school, and we were not allowed to see our loved ones; for me I looked at the positive side of it.
Luckily, I kept my job, I do not have children so homeschool was not a thing here, and I found new loved ones that I was able to get closer to. I am taking a trip down memory lane in my photos to show you how we spent our quarantine.

Somehow I feel like all of my "peace" training for the last two years had prepared me for this quarantine. I used to be a person who lived completely and fully in the future, the what if girl constantly. I was always trying to plan my life and the lives of the people around me. But when a death would suddenly happen, or a break up would leave me inundated with emotions I had to learn to let go of control. I went to therapy and really focused on my faith. Overtime I started to learn to only focus on the day ahead not tomorrow or next month. I started to stop wondering "what if" and just let things be what they were.

I loved this book. I love her, I love her honesty and she inspired me to walk away from toxicity and to hold onto faith beacause God is always working behind the scenes. We may not feel it through the pain, but we need to go through it to get to where we are meant to be. Her book sold out on Amazon and was #1 on the iBooks list the first week of the release. I am so happy for her. She built an amazing clothing company that she threw herself into during times of pain and it has been so successful. Her mom has done an amazing job with it. I think the book will help a lot of people face their past, confront their ghosts and hopefully move on with their heads held high with a new horizon in sight.
