Heels to Heal “A Fashion Show to Remember” St. Petersburg, Fl

I love a good fashion show. But what I love more is a fashion show for a great cause.  With that being said I am super excited to be promoting a local event THIS FRIDAY! One if the reasons I am so anxious to share this fantastic event is because my wonderful friend, amazing business partner and rock start wardrobe stylist, Tamy Lugo of VStylist, will be one of the MC’s of the show! *Proud Moment* Here are the details!

About Heels to Heal Inc {from official press release}

Heels to Heal Inc is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, founded in 2009, dedicated to helping survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault receive resources necessary for healing. The organization’s goal is to be able to provide for at least 75 hours a month in private counseling services for CASA St Pete participants and survivors that do not have the financial means or insurance to receive the much-needed mental therapy contributing to their healing process. Currently, the program provides at least 20 hours a month of individual counseling to CASA St Pete participants at both the shelter facility and outreach center. The Counselors that are part of Heels to Heal Therapy resource program are professional and licensed mental health counselors specialized in helping domestic violence survivors process trauma and make sustainable choices toward a healthier future despite the trauma they have experienced.

Looking to the future, Heels to Heal Inc wants to begin utilizing their additional counselors specialized in working with survivors with trauma related to sexual assault and human trafficking to assist participants such as USF, Stetson, or Eckerd college students that might have been affected by rape. Additionally, the therapy resource program will partner with the St Pete Police Department victims’ advocacy unit to allow for victims to receive free counseling services under the program.

Wear your best, your smile & bring your wallet ladies & gents, it’s for a GREAT CAUSE!!!!

Xo, Cheers! Jenn
